  4 paintings for critique

Feel free to critique these paintings. I am more than happy to get *any* input at all. I personally am discouraged by the female naivite and contrived style. I really need to paint more to break out of this. What do you think?
Thanks!

maayke,

the one with the woman on the waves is very strong, as you know. if find though that i'm not quite sure what she's doing. is she surfing? is there a board under her we can't see? the real question is: what is it saying?

the painting of woman with the big breast who looks like she's stretching is, in my humble estimation, the most striking of the four. i love how her right arm melts away. but the little bit of skin showing her right forearm is a little disappointing. you hope when you look at the picture that her arm get's totally blown away by some dripping and wind and blue, but then there's that rectangle of beige that seems placed as an afterthought.

the flamenco danser. i think the blues could be a little darker to bring out the reds of her dress. i like the confetti like black streaks that add to the business of the work and the overall feel of it. i find that it strives for eroticism but something holds you back.

the woman wading in the beach looks like she has a serious skin problem. particularly on her shoulders where i think you were going for some sand being blown across it. very good nonetheless. i like the sharpness of her hair, and you are excellent when it comes to clouds and waves and swirls.
